Eligibility Criteria

  1. All enterprise case studies will be open to all citizens/residents in the participating countries, without age restriction
  2. Individual or team participation of not more than 3 persons
  3. One submission per individual/participating group per case study
  4. The organisation reserve the right to disqualify works that do not meet the submission requirement or deemed to have been plagiarised, e.g reproduce

Submission Format

  1. The challenge is closed
  2. Winners will be notified on 19 nov 2009 via email
  3. Result will be posted on 20 nov 2009

The participating enterprises will own all rights to the winning ideas and the rights to implement the other submitted ideas, without prejudice to the rights of the participants to also implement their ideas through other means.

  • Look forward to critically reviewing the existing range of products and its relation to consumer purchasing habits.
  • Propose new items or creatively repackage existing products in a way that will enhance Sakae Sushi’s branding across geographical boundaries.
  • Pit your value proposition against other talented teams to prove that you have what it takes to bring Sakae Sushi further and beyond.

Your challenge is to develop a marketing plan for bYSI to penetrate into the market of the respective participating countries under the GEW APEE Challenge.

You should consider the following when approaching the case:

  • Analyse the suitability of marketing the present range in the proposed countries.
  • Consider the existing market gaps in fashion markets locally and in the region and propose a customized range of products for bYSI.
  • Propose a pricing structure that adheres to bYSI's brand positioning as a relevant, chic and desirable fashion brand .
  • Propose suitable malls in and around the region for bYSI to operate from.
  • Recommend a media plan for the brand to penetrate successfully into the markets of the proposed countries in order to achieve a strong brand awareness.
